Benchmark indices were trading in the positive territory in the afternoon session on Thursday, with IT stocks lifting the indices.

The S&P BSE Sensex was trading over 100 points or 0.35 per cent higher at 36,800 levels with HCL Tech, TCS, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, and Infosys top gainers. The broader Nifty50 index was trading around 10,880 levels, up 30 points, or 0.31 per cent.
