Court Directs Police To Register FIR Against AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi For Hate Speech

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Assaduddin Owaisi's younger brother may get into trouble for a hate speech he allegedly delivered on July 23.While Akbaruddin Owaisi was earlier given a clean chit in the matter, the Karimnagar district court has directed police to register an FIR against him.A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) affiliated advocate had approached the magistrate court after Karimnagar police did not register an FIR against the AIMIM MLA based on his complaint.Police had instead sought legal opinion and gave a clean chit to Akbaruddin Owaisi.However, now the district court has ordered police to register an FIR against him. The development comes after the lawyer approached court with documents related to Owasi's case.
